Wait For The Interesting Part

Michael Scheuer, Former CIA Bin Laden Unit Chief from 1996 to 1999 is currently under the Zionist fire for criticizing the American-Israeli relations during a C-SPAN live interview. It is not a surprise to hear him saying what he had said because he always criticizes the American-Israeli relations creating controversy. In a comment on a caller’s view on American-Israeli relations the former CIA counter terrorism expert said the following :

I think that American foreign policy is ultimately up to the American people. One of the big things we have not been able to discuss for the past 30 years is the Israelis. Whether we want to be involved in fighting Israel's wars in the future is something that Americans should be able to talk about. They may vote yes. They may want to see their kids killed in Iraq or somewhere else to defend Israel. But the question is: we need to talk about it. Ultimately Israel is a country that is of no particular worth the United States.

When the C-SPAN host asked him if he meant strategically worth ,he answered saying :

Strategically. They have no resources we need. Their manpower is minimal. Their association with us is a negative for the United States. Now that's a fact. What you want to do about that fact is entirely different. But for anyone to stand up in the United States and day that support for Israel doesn't hurt us in the Muslim world is to just defy reality.

This is right somehow but the CIA expert forgot one particular truth modern Israel was supported by the West to divide the Arab region and control it , this fear from the return of Islamic Arab Empire was revived by Mohamed Ali dreams. Anyhow the interesting part that made me stop to write this post is not the above but rather the below

Please watch till the end , the last part

Supporting Hosni Mubarak’s dictatorship that does not hurt us does not justify reality

  1. It's so sad, how US support of Israel is always something never talked about. The only thing I will say is that US support of Israel has far more to do with US control over the Middle East than it has to do with AIPAC or any ethnic lobby. Most US politics are controlled by businesses and corporations who seek to make profit, and imperialism/control of foreign lands is a great way for them to do that.
